中文摘要: 技職體系的升學管道多元且日漸受到重視,教育部規劃技職一貫課程改革計畫,期望在不同學制所學習的知識與技能具銜接性與統整性,本研究將探究大學四年制視覺傳達設計相關科系之「文字造形與編排」課程內容與職業類科廣告設計科之「文字造形」課程內容之間的銜接性與學生需具備的能力。研究設計與步驟主要為(1)「文字造形與編排」的課程內容、高職教科書和相關書籍蒐集與分析。(2)以「問卷調查與深度訪談」了解高職廣告設計科的教學內容與情況以及大學教師對於課程銜接性與學生應具備的能力之看法。
研究結果為:(1)開課現況:技職體系多將課程開設在第一學年與第二學年屬於基礎技能培養的階段。「文字造形與編排」課程雖有所重視,但在課程時間上卻有明顯不足的現象。(2)課程內容安排:職業學校以基礎課程為主,技職院校課程則是文字基礎與進階課程並重。(3)相關書籍內容:在國內文字造形與編排相關書籍內容方面,共歸納出16個主要單元,多數的書籍內容包含文字基本知識與技能的部份。(4)課程規劃建議:大學教師認為高職階段最主要的是必須充分奠定好學生文字結構方面的能力,才有益於日後大學階段的學習。大學階段應培養學生對字體的敏銳度與整合能力,能設計出符合市場需求的作品。
英文摘要: Due to the multiple school systems in technical and vocational education, policy designers expected to integrate the knowledge and skills in different training programs. The study explores the linkage and connection of curriculum design of Typography courses between four-year technical and vocational university and vocational high school and its impact on student skills. We first exam the content of school curriculum, high school textbooks, and related materials. Then, we use questionnaires and in-depth interview to understand the content of teaching from vocational high school and opinions from university teachers.
First, we found that Typography course in technical and vocational education system is emphasized but the amount of time devoted was limited. Second, vocational high schools focus on fundamental courses, while higher education emphasizes both basic skill and advanced training. Third, we also classify 16 subunits in this field by reviewing the content of textbook and related materials and found most of the materials are in the area of fundamental knowledge and basic skills. Lastly, according to our interviews with university teachers, they suggest that the basic skill of typeface architecture in vocational high school is helpful for students in pursuing higher education. On the other hand, training in skill of legibility and readability will further enhance students' design capability to meet the market demand.
