The hospital is a horrible and terrible place for many preschoolers. The domestic hospitals and clinics used to arrange adult medical treatment space and environment, and they are less concerned about children''s medical treatment. For the past years, large hospitals have continuously set up specialized children''s hospitals, but they mostly set up recreational facilities, and rarely research on the user situation of space in the hospitals and clinics. Let children not fear in the hospital and cooperate with medical professionals. In the early stage of the study, the operation and behavior of medical situation are observed to analyze the features and limitations of children’s medial programs followed by interviewing medical professionals. Requirements are identified through exploring the process of diagnosis and treatment and used to propose three medical assistance device designs. Assessment of those proposed designs are also executed to examine the reaction of pre-school children through on-site simulation. Results of the study can be applied to the medical assistance, so that the medical process can be adjusted to the individual characteristics of the child with interactive treatment process. A pleasant experience in hospitals or clinics for pre-school children during their medical treatment can then be expected.
