近年來,由於地球環境被汙染與破壞,推廣與響應環保成為國際性的議題,在環保、耐用性與健康等顧慮下,生活用品與家具家飾市場倡導運用自然材、生物植栽等天然產物,自然有機體的實木產品更是備受推崇。業界多以「奇木」代指的台灣貴重木種,由於取得管道為漂流木,市場應用有限,受眾狹小。「仿生設計」參照生命體特點轉化為產品,本創作者認為可以將市場接受度良好的「仿生設計」作為設計手法,製作常見有一定功能性的家飾產品-燈飾,將漂流奇木從原料設計轉化為產品,提升總體商業價值。
為了賦予漂流奇木創新的產品形式,使產品融入現代簡約裝潢,提升總體商業價值,針對仿生設計進行文獻與案例分析,分析歸納花卉造型產品設計思維與準則。整合漂流木工藝與燈具種類與特性,實際探討與實驗媒材特性後,為了配合漂流奇木尺寸,調整燈罩尺寸,保持整體造型平衡,挑用直徑34.4cm高度30cm、USB接頭,輸出為5V/1-2A,色溫2500-3500K的小圓燈。以CNC加工紅銅片與黃銅片後,經評估選用塑型能力較佳的黃銅片為燈罩骨架。燈壁則在試驗五種織品後,選擇柔軟有彈性可支撐燈罩塑形的棉布,複合疊加可修飾外表的麻落水紙。
統整設計流程與策略,用形態圖表矩陣呈現單元化、簡化、幾何化、變形、堆疊、旋轉等仿生轉化手法,設計花卉視覺特點與結構的黃銅片燈罩骨架,裱糊棉布與麻落水紙作為燈壁,讓整體造型更加完整;並分析花卉葉型,以幾何簡化後的造型篩選木材,讓奇木可保有漂流木造型處理成燈座,製成壁燈與桌燈。
本創作研究成果分為二系列,一共10件作品,以模擬情境圖檢視,確實是能融入現代風格的室內裝潢中,並保留漂流奇木天然造型、彰顯其自然美感,傳達漂流奇木的特色及魅力。在確保產品功能性的同時,也有更貼近現代社會的設計感,增添使用者生活情調。

In recent years, due to the pollution and destruction of the global environment, promoting and responding to environmental protection has become an international issue. Out of concern for environmental protection, durability and health, the market for basic commodity, furniture and furnishings advocates the use of natural materials, biological plants, etc. Natural products like solid wood products of natural organisms have been held in high esteem since then. However, Taiwan's precious wood species (mostly referred to by the industry as Precious wood) have limited market applications and a narrow audience due to the source of driftwood. "Bionic design" is transformed into products with reference to the characteristics of living organisms. The creator believes that "bionic design" that is well accepted by the market can be used as a design technique. Produce furnishings with certain functions-"Lighting". Transforming the precious driftwood from raw material design to product enhances the overall commercial value.
In order to give Precious Drifting an innovative product form, the product can be placed in modern minimalist decoration. Improve overall commercial value. Search literature and case studies on bionic design. Analyze and summarize the design thinking and criterion of flower styling products. Integrate the types and characteristics of driftwood craftsmanship and lighting. In order to match the driftwood size, adjust the lampshade size, and maintain the overall shape balance. Choose a small round lamp (Technical Specifications: 30cm H x 34.4cm Diameter; USB output of 5V/1- 2A; color temperature of 2500-3500K). Evaluate the molding ability by CNC processing and select the brass plates as lampshade holder. For the lampshade, after testing five kinds of fabrics, soft and elastic cotton cloth that can support the shaping of the lampshade is selected, and hemp dripping paper that can be combined and superimposed to modify the appearance.
After actual discussion and experiment of the characteristics of the media, the design process and strategy are integrated. Use the morphological chart matrix to present the bionic transformation methods such as unitization, simplification, geometricalization, deformation, stacking, and rotation. Use brass lampshade holder with the visual characteristics and structure of flowers. Paste cotton cloth and hemp paper as the wall of the lighting. Make the overall shape more complete. There is also an analysis of simplified geometric flower leaf shapes to screen wood with shapes. Let precious driftwood shape and process it into lighting holders. Make wall lighting and table lighting.
The research results of this creation are divided into two series, a total of 10 works. Check with the render to confirm that it can be integrated into the modern interior design. And retain the natural shape of drifting wood, highlighting its natural beauty. Convey the characteristics and charm of drifting woods. While ensuring the functionality of the product, it also has a design that is closer to modern society. Add the good taste of life to user.
