本創作論文運用木目金如年輪般的紋路，其紋樣象徵歷史足跡，包裏著一層一層的祕密，與「鎖」之象徵意涵相互連結呼應，延伸製作系列創作作品。論文透過文獻研究探討，歸納「鎖」的文學意涵與東西方的象徵意義，並做隱喻設計的探討，分析創作的元素意涵以及手法。創作表現以金工木目金技法為方法重點，紀錄木目金片製作過程。經過多次試驗實作，取其最符合創作者的構思與靈感，再加以分析整合創作想法，並分享各系列創作作品理念、表現形式、設計發想討論過程紀錄與作品圖。希望透過此次創作論文，除了能將金工木目金技法推廣，同時也希望透過創作理念的整合應用，讓飾品不僅只是美化自身的一個物件，更是富涵情感、意義與盼望。

In this thesis, the adoption of the annual ring-like flow marks of the Mokume Gane to symbolize the historical footprint wrapping layers of secrets just connects and responds to the symbolization and implication of “lock”, and further extends to manufacture a series of creations. Through documentary researches and investigation, this thesis summarizes the literary implication of “lock” and its symbolic implications in the eastern and western cultures. In addition, this thesis also brings out discussions on the metaphoric design to analyze the implication and technique of the creation elements.The presentation of the creation centers on the metal work of the Mokume Gane technique as the creation method to record the manufacturing operation of the Mokume Gane flakes. After various times of experiments and creations, the creation that is best matched with the creator’s creational idea and inspirations is chosen for carrying out analysis and integrations of the creation ideas and sharing the creation concept, the expression form, the discussion process record of the design development, and the work image of each series of creations.It is expected through this thesis the metal work of the Mokume Gane technique can be further popularized and meanwhile through the integration and application of the creation concept, the designing idea of accessories will not be limited in the area of designing an object to beautify oneself, but furthermore the designing idea can be further extended to create something more sentimental, meaningful, and hopeful.
