臺中市具有濃厚的美食文化底蘊,要行銷城市的文化資源,需要搭配完整的交通規劃,臺中市在制定公車的福利政策與公車資訊系統的建置上,已逐漸趨於完善,然而因公車旅遊資訊的規劃,無法有效整合景點周邊的資源,導致行銷內容略顯薄弱,無法彰顯在地的文化特色。
本創作研究期望透過旅遊指南書的編輯設計,指引民眾以搭乘公車的方式,暢遊臺中市的各個美食景點,藉此傳達城市意象的獨特性,行銷在地的美食文化資源,改善官方旅遊資訊吸引力不足的問題。
本創作研究藉由文獻探討與旅遊圖文書的案例分析,了解臺中市的城市背景、市區公車的營運資訊、旅遊和地方美食的關聯,以及旅遊指南的內容形式等學理知識與書籍設計的方針,透過研究者親自體驗遊程,制定出完整的公車旅遊路線,綜合學理知識的分析與田野調查的結果,應用在公車旅遊路線規劃,與指南書的編輯設計上。
本創作研究的成果為(一)規劃長程與短程距離的2條美食路線,讓民眾可以評估自己的腳程和體力,在一天的時間之內,搭乘臺中市公車體驗美食主題的旅遊行程。(二)設計出視覺美感與實用功能兼具的旅遊指南書籍,方便民眾攜帶、閱讀及收藏。期望透過公車美食指南書的編輯設計,行銷臺中市的在地美食特色。

英文摘要

There are abundant gastronomic features and culture in Taichung city, and they need to be promoted by full-planned arrangements of transportation program. Though the welfare policy and information system of Taichung city bus has been gradually mature, the resources around sceneries still can’t be effectively integrated because of insufficient bus tourist information, leading to lack exposure of local cultural features.
Through tourist guide book design, the creation expects people to take Taichung city bus to diverse gourmet attractions in Taichung. Hopefully, it can not only reveal the distinctive city image, promote local gastronomy culture, but improve the problem of inadequate attraction from official travel information.
With analysis from collected documents and examples of tourist picture books, we can figure out the background of Taichung city, the operation of city bus, the relevance between travel and authentic gastronomy, and principles of tourist guide book design. Furthermore, the creation consists of integral and complete tourist routes by personal experience tour. Then, by concluding the results of academic analysis and field research, apply them into Taichung city bus routes plan and guide book design.
To sum up the achievement of the creation, first, people can experience either short or long distance of one-day gastronomic tour by Taichung city bus, considering their physical strength. Second, the tourist guide book designed with visual aesthetics and practical features can be easily carried, read and stored. Finally, hope this creation of Taichung city bus guide book on gastronomy theme can promote local gastronomic culture of Taichung city successfully.
