在身體藝術興起的現今,大眾對多元藝術的接受度越來越高,如今的刺青不像 以往時常被貼上負面的標籤,據創作者觀察近10年來刺青已然步入了流行文化、藝 術美學的地位。但仍會有較為保守以及先入為主觀念的人,對刺青工作者有許多部 分的誤解,而當看到人們身上有刺青時,還是不禁退避三舍,避之唯恐不及,而越 是不了解就會對其誤解越深。
而本次創作透過與臺中市的刺青工作者「丁墨」,深入訪談拍攝紀錄片,也讓創作者本人因此反思自身是否也帶著偏見,隨著與刺青師更深入的認識,重新築構刺青這份技藝的認知,期望能夠透夠此次創作,讓大眾與本創作者一樣,能對刺青有更多的認識,讓社會對如今多元的選擇有更多的包容。
除了最後的展覽作品演示外,一方面考證刺青工作的形式,更衍生創作者後續對職人誌的創作,探討、訪談更多刺青師抑或是其他文化技藝的工作者們,賦予這個時代應予的專業尊重。

英文摘要

Nowadays, with the rise of body art, the public''s acceptance of diverse art is getting higher and higher. Today''s tattoos are not often labeled as negative. In the past 10 years, the creators have entered the popular culture and artistic aesthetics. Status. However, there are still people who are more conservative and preconceived, and there are many partial misunderstandings about the tattoo workers. When they see people with tattoos, they can’t help but avoid it, and the more they don’t understand, the more they don’t understand. The deeper the misunderstanding.
  This creation, through an in-depth interview with the tattoo worker "Ding Mo" in Taichung City, also allowed the creator to reflect on whether he was also biased and re-constructed the tattoo with a deeper understanding with the tattoo artist. The cognition of this skill is expected to be able to penetrate this creation, so that the public, like the creator, can have more understanding of the tattoo and make the society more inclusive of today''s diverse choices.
  In addition to the final demonstration of the exhibition works, on the one hand, the form of the tattoo work is researched, and the creation of follow-up creators of the creators is further explored. Discussions and interviews with more tattoo artists or other cultural skills workers are given to this era. Professional respect.
