近年來禪繞畫在歐美興起後,開始風靡於世界各國,雖然在國內仍處於萌芽階段,但是相關的課程及書籍,與日俱增。根據禪繞畫官方定義:禪繞畫(Zentangle)是結合「禪悟」(Zen)與「纏結」(Tangle)的藝術創作,它是由Maria Thomas與Rick Roberts共同創立。禪繞畫簡單易學,繪畫工具容易取得,也不需要橡皮擦,在繪畫的過程中,或許會有錯誤,但是可藉由這個錯誤,讓它成為新的出發點,再延伸出不同的圖形。由於禪繞畫創作的自由、不受限制,對於一些沒有繪畫技巧的人,禪繞畫就是鼓舞人們動筆的簡單方式,讓人們在提筆繪畫之際,感受到圖形的生動與美感,是一種簡單容易上手的繪畫方式,因此禪繞畫受到人們的喜愛。本研究整合相關文獻,透過耙梳禪繞畫的起源和背景,藉由格式塔理論、造形元素和美學原理,闡述禪繞畫的視覺語言、情感表達、藝術形式和圖形特徵,並汲取其美學意象及應用,提引為借鑒,以更進一步的帶領人們進入禪繞畫的視覺情境中,提高對禪繞畫的認知與理解,引起人們對禪繞畫的重視和關注,進而帶動禪繞畫的推廣和發展。再者,覺察是禪的核心價值,從禪繞畫的創作中可得知,人們專注在當下,全然的開放自我覺察,自在的用線條與周圍的世界互動,並接納每一個不完美,順其自然的呈現每一幅畫,從這當中獲得喜悅,進而達到撫慰身心的效果。

本研究採文獻分析法、KJ法、半結構式訪談法,針對禪繞畫的圖樣,藉由文獻的探討,從中得到禪繞畫這種抽象藝術,的確可以藉由圖形的創作去撫慰人心,並且可安定內心、提升專注力,也可轉化情緒,達到心靈上的釋然。藝術療癒感則是在於藝術創作本身就有療癒的效果,它是一種自我發現,也是一種同外界溝通的管道。

因此,在主題的延伸之下,本研究分為五大章探討,第一章禪繞畫的美學涵養與藝術底蘊。此章共有五個小節,第一節包含格式塔理論對禪繞畫的影響、在美學設計中探索禪繞畫流行與崛起;第二節探討禪繞畫的魅力與價值、禪繞畫的美感與應用的意象;第三節則是研究範圍與限制;第四節整合相關名詞加以解釋;第五節為研究架構與流程。本章希冀以此讓人們明白禪繞畫的緣起與脈絡,當人們在進行禪繞畫創作的同時,也許可以藉由釋放情緒,進而產生頓悟與滿足,或許因此心靈的療癒感就在過程中,也能衍生。

第二章為禪繞畫的藝術形式與獨創性,本研究透過文獻蒐集與整理,加以分析。此章共有四節,第一節為探索禪繞畫的創作原理,將分別探索格式塔理論的概念及觀點、重複的藝術美學、以及視覺構成中的應用形式;第二節著重於美學的抒情再現與抽象表現,將分析美學的定義與美感歷程、造形設計元素的演繹融合、以及美學原理的底蘊與微觀;第三節的重點在於禪繞畫的應用價值探究,從禪繞畫的起源與定義、禪繞畫圖樣的構成原理以及禪繞畫的抽象表達與具象描繪中,透過耙梳與彙整,在禪繞畫的構成中皆可發覺其基礎為點、線、面,這與格式格理論的學理相輔相成,若仔細觀察禪繞畫的圖樣,就會發現其圖樣充滿著平移、鏡射、旋轉及位移鏡射的形態,繪製者以此方式,加以重複創作出令人讚嘆不己的圖樣。這些圖樣將成為繪畫中的慣用元素,進而發展出一幅和諧的有機體以及抽象形狀融合的畫面;第四章探討藝術療癒感在禪繞畫的正面能量,此章節從知覺與感覺所衍生出的療癒感,去探究禪繞畫的確有鼓舞人心的正向能量,繪製者在創作的過程中獲得緩解與滿足,從而得到療癒感。

第三章是禪繞畫的表現探討,本章主要在探討禪繞畫呈顯的美學認知,以及所產生的療癒感。以KJ法對八位禪繞畫學員進行禪繞畫圖形分析,並透過收集和整理其內容項目進行分析和結構的解釋,最後選定五位CZT禪繞畫認證合格教師,針對療癒感應用於禪繞畫之視覺藝術及其美學,擬定相關題目加以訪談,獲取受訪者的觀點、解釋和意見,進行分析,做為佐證的依據。

第四章研究結果與顯示分析:(1)KJ法歸納分組,初步可獲得三個主構面、六個次構面,此過程在於瞭解禪繞畫的視覺意象結構,其研究結果可供創作者或觀賞者「明白」或「體悟」對禪繞畫其獨特的韻律美、意蘊美和形式美,把審美感知與理解有所聯結,進一步彰顯出理性與情感的融合,以及突顯新的審美意義;(2)本研究針對五位CZT禪繞畫認證合格老師進行半結構式訪談,由於CZT禪繞畫認證合格老師長期致力禪繞畫的教學以及推廣,有其專業背景之考量,藉由訪談內容瞭解禪繞畫的發展脈絡,以及受訪者接觸禪繞畫的過程、禪繞畫創作概念的核心、表達形式、技巧的應用和媒材的選用,並闡明在此過程中的情緒釋放,體現創作過程中內在的療癒感,激發出心靈的快樂與滿足,希望可以藉由不同取向的對比借鑒,佐證藝術療癒感應用於禪繞畫之視覺藝術及其美學。

第五章為結論與建議,本研究在彙整文獻、KJ法的分析以及訪談法之剖析後,得以獲知預期目的與結論相印證。禪繞畫可透過日常生活的人、事、物感受這個寬廣的世界,進而察覺到日常生活的美學,從中激起創意的連結,再由點、線、面等元素組成,並在此基礎上顯示了這些元素的無限組合,藉以延伸並創作出豐富多變的圖樣,在繪製的過程中單純的把心中所想,以簡單線條畫出來,不用理會圖樣的美醜,在創作中可以重新檢視自己的內在情緒,將心性與情感貫注於其中,從繪畫的表層去探索心靈的更深層,享受當下的情緒釋放,這都是一場自我對話的療癒旅程。

本研究冀盼人們藉由禪繞畫打破對審美意識的框架,促使各類審美觀都在各自實踐中,確立自己的位置,讓禪繞畫的使用層面更為廣泛,冀盼人們對於生命的覺察,將禪繞畫的美學內涵昇華到一個嶄新的層次。本研究礙於人、時間、地域的限制,故未能全方位進行,因此本研究提出不足之處,可供探討禪繞畫議題的研究者,做更深的鑽研及探究。

英文摘要

In recent years, after the rise of Zentangle in Europe and America, it has become popular all over the world. Although it is still in its infancy in China, related courses and books are increasing day by day. According to the official definition of Zentangle, Zentangle is an artistic creation combining Zen and Tangle. It was co-founded by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts. Zentangle is easy to learn, painting tools are easy to obtain, and there is no need for eraser. In the process of painting, there may be mistakes, but this mistake can be used to make it a new starting point, and then extend different graphics. Because of the freedom and unrestricted creation of Zentangle, for some people without painting skills, Zentangle is a simple way to encourage people to write, so that when people pick up a pen painting, feel the graphic vivid and aesthetic feeling, is a simple and easy to get started painting, so Zentangle is loved by people. Integration of related literature, this study through the rake comb Zentangle around the origin and background, by gestalt theory, the influential elements and aesthetic principles of zen painting around the visual language, emotional expression, artistic form and graphical features, and draw the aesthetic image and application, introduced as the reference, to lead people further into the Zentangle visual context around, Improve the awareness and understanding of Zentangle, arouse people's attention and attention to Zentangle, and then drive the promotion and development of Zentangle. Furthermore, awareness is the core value of zen, what do we learn from Zentangle, people focus on the present, completely open self awareness, comfortable with lines to interact with the world around, and embrace each and every one is not perfect, let nature take its course of rendering each picture, joy, they obtain from this, in turn, to achieve the effect of comfort of body and mind.

This study adopts literature analysis method, KJ method, semi-structured interview method, aiming at the pattern of Zentangle , through the literature discussion, from which we get the abstract art of Zentangle, can indeed comfort people through the creation of graphics, and can stabilize the heart, improve concentration, but also can transform the mood, to achieve spiritual relief. The sense of art healing lies in the healing effect of artistic creation itself, which is a kind of self-discovery and a channel to communicate with the outside world.

Therefore, under the extension of the theme, this study is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the aesthetic conservation and artistic connotation of Zentangle. This chapter consists of five sections. The first section contains the influence of gestalt theory on Zentangle, and explores the popularity and rise of Zentangle in aesthetic design. The second section discusses the charm and value of Zentangle, the aesthetic feeling of Zentangle and the image of application; The third section is the research scope and limitation; The fourth section integrates related terms to explain; The fifth section is the research structure and process. This chapter hopes to make people understand the origin and context of Zentangle. When people are creating Zentangle, they may release their emotions to generate Epiphany and satisfaction. Perhaps the healing feeling of the heart can be derived in the process.

The second chapter is about the artistic form and originality of Zentangle. This chapter consists of four sections. The first section is to explore the creation principle of Zentangle. It will respectively explore the concept and viewpoint of Gestalt theory, the artistic aesthetics of repetition, and the application form of visual composition. The second section focuses on the lyrical representation and abstract expression of aesthetics, and will analyze the definition and aesthetic process of aesthetics, the deductive integration of design elements, as well as the essence and micro of aesthetic principles. The third section focuses on the application value of the Zentangle around to explore, from the origin and definition, Zentangle around the circle of drawing graphic composition principle and zen around abstract expression and representation, through rake comb and summarize, in the composition of Zentangle around all can find its foundation for point, line, face, this theory and format of lattice theory complement each other, if watch Zentangle around the pattern, It is found that the pattern is full of forms of translation, mirror, rotation and displacement mirror. In this way, the plotter repeatedly creates amazing patterns. These patterns would become habitual elements in painting, developing a picture of harmonious organisms and abstract shapes fused together; The fourth chapter discusses the positive energy of artistic healing sense in Zentangle. This chapter explores the positive energy of Zentangle from the healing sense derived from perception and feeling, and explores the positive energy of inspiring Zentangle. The artist can get relief and satisfaction in the process of creation, so as to get the healing sense.
The third chapter is the Zentangle performance discussion, this chapter mainly discusses the Zentangle presented aesthetic cognition, as well as the sense of healing generated. Of eight zen round draw with KJ method for zen trainees round draw graphics analysis, and through collecting and sorting the content analysis and the interpretation of the structure, and finally selected the five CZT Zentangle certification of qualified teachers, for healing induced for zen around the visual art and aesthetics, and formulate relevant subject to interviews, respondents view, explain and opinion, carries on the analysis, As evidence.

Chapter 4 Research Results and Display Analysis: (1) induction grouping KJ method, preliminary can obtain three main dimensions, six dimensions, this process is to understand zen painting around the visual image structure, its research results for the creator or viewer "understand" or "connect" to Zentangle around the rhythm of its unique beauty, meaning beauty and formal beauty, aesthetic perception and understanding of the connection, further the fusion of rationality and emotion, And highlight new aesthetic meanings; (2) This study conducted semi-structured interviews with five QUALIFIED CZT Zentangle teachers. Since CZT Zentangle teachers have been committed to the teaching and promotion of Zentangle for a long time and have their professional background in consideration, the development of Zentangle can be understood through the interview content. As well as the process of interviewees' contact with Zentangle, the core of the concept of Zentangle creation, the form of expression, the application of skills and the selection of media materials, and the release of emotions in this process, reflect the inner sense of healing in the process of creation, stimulate the happiness and satisfaction of the soul, hope to draw lessons from the comparison of different orientations. To demonstrate the visual art and aesthetics of art healing induction in Zentangle.


The fifth chapter is the conclusion and suggestion. After summarizing the literature, KJ analysis and interview analysis, the expected purpose and conclusion are confirmed. Zentangle through the daily life of people and things around, feel the wide world, and then detect the aesthetics of daily life, to stir up the creative links, and is composed of the elements such as dot, line, face, and on this basis shows an infinite combination of these elements, so as to extend and create a variety of pattern, in the process of drawing simple to carry in our hearts, To draw with simple lines, without paying attention to the beauty and ugliness of the pattern, you can re-examine your inner emotions in the creation, concentrate your heart and emotion in it, explore the deeper soul from the surface of the painting, and enjoy the release of the current emotions. This is a healing journey of self-dialogue.

This study hopes that people can break the framework of aesthetic consciousness by means of Zentangle, and encourage all kinds of aesthetic conceptions to establish their own position in their own practice, so that zen circle painting can be used more widely, and people's perception of life can be improved to a new level of aesthetic connotation of zen circle painting. Due to the limitations of people, time and region, this study cannot be carried out in an all-round way. Therefore, the shortcomings of this study can be provided for the researchers who discuss the topic of Zentangle to do deeper research and exploration.
